SOS Lab to Participate in 'CES 2025'

SOS Lab announced on the 7th that it will participate in the 'International Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2025),' a global IT and electronics exhibition held in Las Vegas, USA from the 7th to the 10th local time.

SOS Lab will operate its own booth at CES 2025, demonstrating its lidar technology for autonomous vehicles mounted on headlamps and introducing its entire product line, including 3D and 2D lidar, to the global market.

In particular, the CES Innovation Award-winning "ML-U" will be unveiled on-site. ML-U is a camera-type lidar that utilizes deep learning-based colorization technology and is expected to usher in a new paradigm in the autonomous driving sensor field. ML-U's ability to simultaneously generate distance and color information sets it apart from existing lidar systems.

Additionally, ML-X and the parking lot control system solution, "LPGS SPOT," will be introduced. LPGS is an innovative solution capable of monitoring more than 50 parking spaces with a single sensor. It is currently deployed and in operation at Gimhae International Airport and Yeosu International Airport, managed by Korea Airports Corporation. Last year, LPGS received the "Excellence Award" at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's Best Practice (BP) Competition, which was submitted by Korea Airports Corporation.

An SOS Lab official said, “Through this CES participation, we will showcase our technological prowess and innovation to the global market,” and added, “In particular, we expect that next-generation technologies such as ML-U will present new possibilities in the autonomous driving market.”
