Mission Law Firm announced on the 3rd that it signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with patent firm The Wave, focusing on building a global network and providing consulting support. The signing ceremony took place at Mission Law Firm's office in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and was attended by executives and staff from both firms.
Mission Law Firm specializes in cross-border business advisory. It is actively engaged in supporting overseas expansion, opening an office in Silicon Valley in 2022. Furthermore, Mission Law Firm offers a comprehensive range of overseas expansion support, including overseas subsidiary establishment, governance structure establishment, and flip (headquarters relocation), both locally and domestically. Mission Law Firm was recently selected as a 2024 GDIN (Global Digital Innovation Network) Outstanding Legal Partner.
Founded in 2021, The Wave Patent Law Firm specializes in intellectual property. Currently, it employs 62 patent attorneys and has global IP partners in diverse regions, including the US, Japan, China, and Europe, as well as Southeast Asia, Eurasia, Central and South America, and the Middle East. This allows it to provide effective global IP portfolios to both domestic and international clients.
Through this agreement, the two companies plan to provide integrated solutions in the areas of law and intellectual property. Collaboration will include: legal and IP strategy consulting; global network building and proposals for collaboration; specialized content production; joint cross-border business training and seminars; and IP dispute response and rights protection strategies.
