
The Gyeongbuk ICT Cloud Association and Acornsoft Co., Ltd. announced on the 7th that they have begun collaborating to expand cloud-native technologies. The two organizations recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the Gyeongbuk ICT Cloud Association's office.
This agreement aims to foster digital transformation and build a cutting-edge industrial ecosystem in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk region based on cloud-native technologies. Key objectives include: cloud-native technology exchange, business expansion, identification of regional cloud transformation business opportunities, and support for research and development and training programs.
The Gyeongbuk ICT Cloud Association, a consortium of companies in the information and communications technology (ICT) and cloud computing sectors, is responsible for driving the growth and digital transformation of the local IT industry. Through this agreement, the association plans to strengthen various support programs based on cloud technology and enhance the competitiveness of its member companies and local businesses.
Acornsoft, a leading domestic PaaS (Platform as a Service) company offering "Cocktail Cloud," a container-based, cloud-native platform, has been supporting cloud transitions in both the public and private sectors. Through this agreement, Acornsoft plans to expand its cloud technology ecosystem, focusing on the Gyeongbuk region, and strengthen the digital competitiveness of local companies.
Jang Seong-wook, Executive Director of Acornsoft's Business Division, said, "This agreement will be a significant opportunity to accelerate the digital transformation of the Daegu and Gyeongbuk region by applying cloud-native technologies to local industries," and added, "We will contribute to revitalizing the local economy based on cutting-edge technologies."
