Wonju City (Mayor Won Kang- soo) and Wonju Medical Device Techno Valley (Director Han Jong-hyeon, hereinafter referred to as Techno Valley) will participate in the 'CES 2025' exhibition from the 7th to the 10th by establishing the first Wonju Pavilion to attract investment, build partnerships, and expand the possibilities for overseas market entry for local companies.
The CES 2025 exhibition will be held in Las Vegas, USA, for four days from the 7th to the 10th. Last year's CES was the largest since Endemic, with 3,500 companies from 153 countries participating and approximately 135,000 visitors.
The Wonju Pavilion will be established at the CES 2025 exhibition to promote the excellence of K-medical devices. It will also highlight Wonju's main industries, medical devices and healthcare, on the global stage and contribute to promoting related technological excellence. A total of eight medical device manufacturers located in Gangwon Province will participate in the Wonju Pavilion: ▲ Newpong Co., Ltd. (ultrasound treatment device), ▲ Medicon Co., Ltd. (ultrasound beauty device), ▲ HBOT Medical Co., Ltd. (hyperbaric oxygen therapy device), ▲ M-Cure Co., Ltd. (skin drug injector), ▲ ODSO Co., Ltd. (artificial intelligence kiosk hearing tester), ▲ Elecfield Future Co., Ltd. (portable X-ray), ▲ Connectedin Co., Ltd. (solution), ▲ Team Elysium Co., Ltd. (body analysis device).
Team Elysium, Inc., is expected to draw particular attention for winning the Innovation Award in the Fitness category among participating companies. This achievement is recognized as a testament to Team Elysium's consistent efforts and dedication to creating new value through the convergence of healthcare and fitness technologies. This award serves as a catalyst for Wonju-based companies to gain global recognition and is expected to have a positive impact on their future global expansion.
The CES Innovation Awards are internationally prestigious awards given by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the organizer of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), to products with outstanding technology, design, and innovation.
