Calavinka Entertainment Secures Investment from CNT Tech and Selects for TIPS

Calavinka Entertainment (CEO Jeong Gyeong-yeol), which operates the AI dance coaching platform 'Audition Me', announced that it was selected for TIPS, a private investment-led technology startup support program hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, after attracting seed investment from CNT Tech, a startup investment firm.

Calavinka Entertainment was selected upon the recommendation of the operating company, CNT Tech, and will receive up to 500 million won in R&D funding over two years, 200 million won in business linkage support, and additional funding for overseas marketing.

"Audition Me," operated by Calavinka Entertainment, is a service that utilizes AI motion recognition technology. Anyone who loves K-pop or other dance genres, both domestically and internationally, can pursue their dreams of becoming a dancer or choreographer through the platform, participating in online and offline camps and auditions. According to the company, 100,000 users in 116 countries are currently using the service.

As global demand for K-pop expands, AuditionMe is fostering the growth of the dance tutorial market through its service. Specifically, dancers, choreographers, and general users can use AI motion recognition technology to analyze their dancing as metadata, allowing anyone to easily imitate and learn through real-time feedback. Furthermore, the service's strength lies in the ability to generate and distribute dance movement metadata as IP, enabling users to generate revenue.

Jeong Gyeong-yeol, CEO of Kalavinka Entertainment, said, “We are aiming to advance the development of multimodal dance learning AI technology through global choreography big data,” and “With this selection as TIPS, we will further strengthen our technological prowess and business capabilities to take the lead as a leader in the global K-POP market.”
