
Gangwon Creative Economy Innovation Center (Director Hae-Jeong Lee, hereinafter referred to as Gangwon Innovation Center) announced that it is recruiting participating companies for the '2025 G-Startup Youth Entrepreneurship Support Project' to support the growth of startups in the province until the 26th.
This project is a program run by Gangwon Province and the Gangwon Innovation Center to support the growth of start-ups with innovative ideas and technological prowess in the province, providing commercialization funding, training, and expert mentoring.
The selection scale is 15 teams in the preliminary startup field (preliminary ~ less than 1 year of experience, 18 to 45 years of age), 15 companies in the early startup field (1 to less than 3 years), and 10 companies in the startup leap field (3 to less than 7 years), and up to 45 million won in commercialization funds will be supported.
In addition, to provide business guidance, an offline business briefing session will be held at the Chuncheon Gangwon Innovation Center (Chuncheon ICT Venture Center 5th floor conference room) at 2 PM on the 13th and at the Gangneung Catholic Kwandong University (John Bosco Hall 508) at 2 PM on the 14th, and an online business briefing session will be held at 7:30 PM on the 15th.

Meanwhile, the Gangwon Innovation Center discovered and nurtured a total of 45 companies through the 2024 G-Startup Youth Entrepreneurship Support Project last year. These companies generated KRW 13.4 billion in cumulative sales, created 89 jobs, and attracted 15 investments totaling KRW 6 billion, contributing to the revitalization of the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province economy.
