Averor announced on the 3rd that it has been selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' "Scale-up Tips for Innovation (TIPS)" program. Scale-up Tips is a program that selects promising technology-based small and medium-sized venture companies and supports innovative research and development. With this selection, Averor will receive a total of 1.2 billion won in research and development (R&D) and commercialization funds over the next three years.
Founded in 2022, Aberer is expanding its e-commerce business, focusing on Coupang and Amazon, and providing a variety of marketing solutions. Key services include "Dister," an AI-based data analysis platform; "Sparrow Mart," a transit shopping platform that provides consumers with shopping rewards and information; and "Solishop," a review platform for customer experience groups. These services support seller revenue generation and provide consumers with a differentiated shopping experience.
In this year's TIPS selection, Aberer received high marks for its technical prowess, business viability, and overall business execution capabilities. In particular, its flagship service, "Dister," demonstrated its technological prowess by achieving significant results on Coupang and Amazon. Dister collects and analyzes data, compares and verifies the effectiveness of sales strategies in real time, and provides seller support features such as keyword analysis, product optimization, and advertising optimization.
Aberer also presented a concrete roadmap for entering the global market. Starting with Amazon, the company plans to expand into global e-commerce platforms like Ali and Temu. To achieve this, the company is pursuing full-scale global expansion by establishing overseas offices and recruiting global e-commerce platform experts.
With the newly secured funds, Aberer plans to advance its AI-based e-commerce solutions and strengthen its market competitiveness. Specifically, it plans to integrate hyperautomation, an AI-based fully automated technology, into its "Dister" platform to address the challenges sellers face in product exposure and advertising operations. To achieve this, the company plans to develop search engine optimization (SEO) technology, build a marketing automation system based on real-time shopping data analysis, and provide a one-stop solution that maximizes sellers' sales performance and operational efficiency.
Kim Byung-jun, CEO of Aberer, said, “I am very pleased that Aberer’s technological prowess and growth potential have been recognized through this TIPS selection,” and added, “As the global e-commerce market is growing rapidly, we will take this opportunity to elevate our technological prowess to the next level and establish ourselves as a company that leads the success of domestic and international e-commerce sellers and a consumer-centered e-commerce ecosystem.”
