The Korea SMEs and Startups Certification Institute (KOSRE, President Jin-yeop Eom) announced on the 2nd that it had awarded outstanding employees for 2024 to celebrate the new year of 2025. On this day, President Jin-yeop Eom presented a commendation from the Minister of SMEs and Startups to Ki-yang Park, Manager of the Planning and Operations Office, who was selected as an outstanding employee, and presented a commendation from the KOSRE President to Hee-woon Woo, Manager of the Growth Cooperation Office.
Manager Park Ki-yang has been working at the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency since January 1, 2012, and has been recognized for his contributions to the expansion and development of the small and medium-sized enterprise management system by providing administrative support to ensure the welfare of the agency's employees and the smooth operation of the auditors' assessment activities.
Since July 2021, Director Woo Hee-woon has been actively and diligently leading the way in improving the company's welfare by introducing a welfare point system and proposing a Happy Day. He has also been recognized for his contributions to revitalizing the organization's innovative operations by striving to implement ESG within the organization through ESG management level diagnosis, environmental campaigns, labor-management cooperation, and integrity activities.
Jin-yeop Eom, the president of the Korea SMEs and Startups Certification Institute, congratulated the award-winning employees and said, “Since our institute was established in 1995 as a government-affiliated professional certification agency, we have humbly listened to our customers’ needs, pursued management practices for customer satisfaction, and pursued a management policy of creating customer value as the top priority.” He added, “I ask all employees, including the award winners, to do their best so that we can become a leading certification institute in the industry.”
Meanwhile, the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KSMA) is a public specialized certification and evaluation agency under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, established with investment from the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency. It carries out various projects, including ISO certification, education and training for certified companies, training of certified auditors, ESG management level diagnosis, and labor-management cooperation certification.
