Busan Changgyeong Announces Schedule for Busan-Style Workation Networking Event "W-DAY"

The Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center (Director Yongwoo Kim, hereinafter referred to as Busan Creative Economy) announced the January 2025 schedule for 'W-DAY', a Busan-style workation networking program, on the 2nd.

W-DAY is an event designed to promote workcation culture and revitalize the startup ecosystem cooperation community through networking among workcation participants from various occupations, as well as to provide lectures where employees of companies outside of Busan can gain insight while experiencing work and rest through a Busan-style workation.

While the existing W-DAY was held under three themes: IT, marketing, and local, starting in 2025, a 'startup' theme will be added, and a W-DAY with an emphasis on business-type workation will also be held.

On December 18th, we held a lecture and networking session with Lee Ha-neul, CEO of Grit, an IT company that actually relocated to Busan after participating in Busan Workation, and many IT professionals in Busan attended.

This month's events include ▲(January 8) 2025 Mental Care for Startup Professionals, CEO Jeongyoon Heo of Emotionography ▲(January 15) Busan Changgyeong's excellent childcare company, the Google of the marine and fisheries industry, CEO Geonho Song of Ringsup ▲(January 22) 2025 Miracle Morning, followed by a lecture by Apple, the operator of Smart Life Lab.

W-DAY is held at the Workation Center (24th floor of the Asti Hotel in Dong-gu) with a different theme each week. Applications are open to all Busan residents, not just Busan Workation participants. For more information, visit the Busan Workation website .
