Rootfinders Secures Seed Investment

Root Finders announced that it has secured seed investment through Infobank's 99 Degrees Investment Fund No. 1. 99 Degrees Investment Fund No. 1 is an investment fund with participation from various investment institutions, including Infobank, the Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation, and Findus. This investment is part of the 2024 Free Tips Referral Program. The investment amount was not disclosed.

Rootfinders, an AbleTech company developing innovative multimedia solutions for the visually impaired, offers "EasyPlus," a multimedia platform that leverages AI technology to help visually impaired people use their smartphones independently. This platform significantly improves content accessibility for the visually impaired and curates diverse media content tailored to their interests. Furthermore, it automatically filters unnecessary ads and pop-ups and provides concise summaries of important information, enabling visually impaired users to utilize their smartphones more intuitively.

Rootfinders has already promoted "EasyPlus" at several international exhibitions, including SOCAP 2024, and is building a foundation for collaboration with overseas investors and buyers. Furthermore, it has signed an MOU with the American Council of the Blind, is conducting local verification tests, and is working on localizing and enhancing the platform.
