GLINS Selected as a 'Deep Tech Tips'

GLINS Co., Ltd. announced that it has been selected for the DeepTech Tips for Innovation (TIPS), a technology startup support program. With this selection, GLINS will receive approximately 1.5 billion won in government-funded research and development (R&D) funding over the next three years.

The DeepTech Tips project selected by GLINS involves the development of an integrated electric/autonomous operation controller for agricultural machinery. This controller targets markets requiring electrification technologies to achieve eco-friendliness and carbon neutrality, as well as autonomous farming/operation technologies to address the aging rural population and labor shortages.

Through this project, GLINS plans to accelerate electric tractor development and implement autonomous farming by applying PMSM (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) motor control technology. This will allow users to perform agricultural activities based on autonomous driving and ISO-BUS implement control technology, simply by configuring the HMI (Human Machine Interface) monitor. Furthermore, this technology can be expanded beyond agricultural machinery to encompass diverse mobility sectors, including construction equipment, industrial vehicles, commercial vehicles, and robotics.

Meanwhile, GLINS is the 11th incubation company of IBK Industrial Bank of Korea's startup incubation platform 'IBK Changgong (創工) Guro', and is being nurtured together with TIPS operator, accelerator CNT Tech Co., Ltd.
