NoriSpace was awarded a commendation for its outstanding performance in the fintech technology commercialization category at the Seoul-type R&D research and development support project hosted by the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency (SBA) on December 17.
The Seoul R&D Support Project comprehensively evaluates the technical and commercial viability of 153 projects, ultimately selecting eight companies as outstanding performers. Norispace was recognized for the technical sophistication and commercialization potential of its AI-based document forgery detection technology.
Norispace's Intelligent Integrated Document Fraud Detection System, recognized for its outstanding performance, utilizes artificial intelligence and image forensics technology to analyze documents for forgery and tampering. It is designed to identify potential forgeries that are difficult to detect with the naked eye by analyzing specific areas of document images for distortion, compositing, and manipulation.
Norispace, through its Seoul-type R&D support project, has successfully verified the technology and demonstrated the practical applicability of its solutions. Building on this foundation, the company has achieved continued success in technology commercialization, including selection for the Financial Supervisory Service's Tech Finder Showcase and winning the Shinhan Finnovation Award. The SBA recognized these achievements for contributing to strengthening the competitiveness of Seoul's AI and fintech industries and revitalizing technology-based industries, awarding the company a commendation in the Artificial Intelligence category.
Norispace plans to expand the scope of its technology application to industries where document reliability is crucial, such as insurance and finance, and to expand its business to enter the global market.
