
Mobility tech startup Gongka (CEO Hwang Ki-yeon) received the Korea Tourism Organization President's Award in the Growth Tourism Venture category at the 2025 Tourism Venture Day hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization.
Tourism Venture Day is an event that selects excellent companies by comprehensively evaluating the innovation and growth potential of tourism companies fostered with support from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization.
Gongka operates a B2B SaaS-based solution for rental car operators. It provides an AI-based platform that integrates and manages data across the entire rental car business process, from vehicle procurement to operation, maintenance, and sales. Through this platform, it has improved operational efficiency in the domestic rental car industry and supported the digital transformation of the tourism and mobility industries.
Recently, Gongka secured approximately 1 billion won in investment, and based on this, it is actively expanding into the Southeast Asian market. Currently, it is collaborating with local partners in key tourism hubs, including Vietnam, to gradually expand its B2B car rental and mobility service model tailored to tourism needs.
