
Exivent Co., Ltd. (CEO Seong Su-min), a company selected for the Daejeon Creative Economy Innovation Center's preliminary startup package, won the grand prize at the 'DDU Startup Idea Contest' held on the 23rd.
This competition was held to strengthen the entrepreneurial capabilities of local college students, young people, and aspiring entrepreneurs and to revitalize the local startup ecosystem. Entries were evaluated based on creativity, technical ability, business viability, and market scalability.
Exivent presented an image-based fruit and pest detection technology utilizing artificial intelligence (AI). This technology received high praise for its ability to rapidly analyze fruit condition and pest infestation, thereby enhancing work efficiency and productivity in agricultural fields.
Park Dae-hee, CEO of the Daejeon Innovation Center, said, “It is very meaningful that promising startups discovered through the pre-startup package achieved great results in regional competitions,” and added, “We will continue to provide support so that technology-based startups like Exivent can establish themselves in the market.”
