Aiden Robotics Receives Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award for Manufacturing AX Alliance

Lee Yoon-haeng, CEO of Adin Robotics , a company specializing in sensors for robots, received the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy's Award in the humanoid category at the Manufacturing AX Alliance.

On the 24th, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy held the first regular general meeting of the Manufacturing AX Alliance at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Seoul, and awarded awards to individuals and companies that contributed to the AI transformation of the manufacturing industry and the spread of advanced robot technology in 10 sectors, including humanoids, AI factories, and autonomous vehicles.

Adin Robotics was highly recognized for its contribution to strengthening the technological independence and competitiveness of the domestic humanoid industry ecosystem by independently developing and mass-producing core components, such as force and torque sensors applied to the hands, feet, and joints of humanoid robots. In particular, in the humanoid field, where precise physical interaction is essential, Adin Robotics pioneered the localization and demonstration of sensors, supporting the industrial expansion of technologies based on the National Humanoid Strategy.

CEO Lee Yoon-haeng serves as the general director of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy-led K-Humanoid Alliance, and is working with large corporations, robot component companies, and industry-academia research institutes to establish a model for mass production of Korean humanoids and securing global competitiveness.

The representative said, “The competitiveness of humanoid robots comes from core component technology, and this award recognizes our efforts to contribute to the national humanoid strategy.” He added, “We will continue to focus on developing component technology that will enhance the competitiveness of the Korean robot industry in the global market.”
