Jobis&Villains (CEO Kim Beom-seop), operator of the lifestyle platform Samjyeonsam, announced on the 30th that it has been recertified as a family-friendly company by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family. Following its initial certification in 2022, Jobis&Villains has successfully achieved recertification, maintaining its family-friendly status for a total of six years, until 2027.
The Family-Friendly Certification system comprehensively evaluates and certifies companies based on factors such as childbirth and childcare support, flexible work arrangements, and fostering a family-friendly workplace culture. Jarvis & Villains scored 95.6 points in this extended review, significantly exceeding the average score of 79.7.
The company operates a flexible work schedule system, allowing employees to choose their own commuting times as long as they meet their monthly work hour target, and an hourly annual leave system. Furthermore, the company has established a flexible work environment by introducing a remote work system that allows employees to work from home up to eight times per month and for up to one month once per year.
The system's effectiveness has also been demonstrated in the areas of childbirth and childcare support. 75% of female workers took advantage of parental leave and reduced working hours for childcare, while 100% took advantage of spousal leave and retained employment after maternity and childcare leave. Family-friendly programs such as prenatal checkups, infertility treatment, and leave for miscarriage and stillbirth are also in place.
In addition, we strive to improve the quality of life for our employees through various welfare programs, including breakfast, lunch and overtime meal support, annual self-development expenses, health checkups and paid vacations, and long-term service refreshment vacations.
Jarvis & Villains plans to continue expanding its systems to support work-life balance, while also improving its organizational culture and enhancing its work environment.
