Jisun supplies wireless backdoor hacking detection system to Welcome Savings Bank's server room.

Convergence security solution company Jison Co., Ltd. (CEO Dongjin Han) announced on the 30th that it has strengthened its security system for protecting financial and customer information by supplying Alpha-H, a wireless backdoor hacking detection system, to the server room of Welcome Savings Bank.

This project aims to provide 24/7 monitoring for information leaks exploiting hidden wireless communication channels, in addition to existing security systems focused on network isolation, intrusion prevention, and malware defense. This measure is designed to proactively respond to emerging threats that are difficult to detect with existing security systems, in response to the recent surge in hacking incidents, particularly in the financial sector.

As hacking incidents targeting secondary financial institutions such as savings banks, credit card companies, and insurance companies continue to occur, financial authorities are demanding increased security investment and proactive response across the entire industry. In particular, wireless backdoor hacking, which involves direct external communication through wireless modules hidden within the system, has been criticized for its difficulty in detection using existing wired and wireless security systems such as firewalls, IPS, WIPS, and network segmentation policies.

Conventional wireless intrusion prevention systems (WIPS) focus on Wi-Fi-based wireless LAN signals, making them limited in their ability to respond to wireless backdoor hacking attacks utilizing long-range wireless communication frequencies capable of reaching several kilometers. Designed to address these limitations, Zison's Alpha-H is a continuous security solution that analyzes all wireless signals within the installation area in real time to detect abnormal wireless communications.

Welcome Savings Bank's implementation of this system is seen as a response to the policy direction that all financial institutions must have sophisticated security systems comparable to those of commercial banks, as well as to customer demands. Welcome Savings Bank maintains ISMS certification and top ratings in the ongoing information security assessment, and is the only savings bank to have secured MyData approval, demonstrating its continued commitment to strengthening information security and data competitiveness.

Welcome Savings Bank explained that with the expansion of the digital financial environment, savings banks are also required to have a high level of security capabilities, and that they decided to introduce this system to minimize security blind spots caused by evolving hacking techniques.

Jisun said that demand for its solutions is increasing, especially in industries with high security importance, such as the financial sector and AI data centers, and that it plans to expand the market based on its technological competitiveness.
