
Pilsang Co., Ltd. (CEO Kang Pil-sang), an investment company of the Daejeon Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Park Dae-hee, hereinafter referred to as the Daejeon Innovation Center), has been selected for First Penguin, a promising startup guarantee support program of the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund.
First Penguin is a representative growth support program of the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund (KCGF), which discovers startups with creative ideas and innovative technologies and provides close support at each stage of their growth. Through this selection, Pilsang will receive up to 4 billion won in guarantee support and preferential guarantee fees. The company plans to use the secured funds to accelerate its advancement of AI technology and its entry into the global security market.
Pilsang previously received recognition for its technological prowess by being selected as the best company in Samsung Finance's C-Lab Outside program. Furthermore, the company plans to participate in CES 2026, the world's largest IT and consumer electronics exhibition, early next year and showcase its malicious website detection and security control solutions in the Samsung C-Lab exhibition hall. Through this initiative, the company aims to fully expand its business in the global market.
Kang Pil-sang, CEO of Pil-sang, said that this selection officially recognized the competitiveness of the company's security technology, and that he would focus on advancing the technology so that the public can use smartphones more safely.
Park Dae-hee, CEO of the Daejeon Innovation Center, praised the center's incubation and investment support for Pilsang's achievements, stating that it was a case in point, where the center's support led to the tangible growth of local startups. He added that the center will continue to strengthen its support by expanding investment resources to ensure promising technology companies can access growth support programs.
