Ageon selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' TIPS program

AGEON (CEO Seo Hyun-sun), a bio-medical dermocosmetic company, announced that it has been selected for TIPS (Technology Incubation Program), a private investment-led technology startup support program run by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. TIPS is a program jointly supported by private investors and the government for startups with outstanding technological prowess and growth potential.

With this selection, Ageon plans to actively pursue the advancement of high-functionality cosmetic materials and delivery technologies. The company's core competitive edge lies in its transdermal drug delivery system (TDDS) technology, which enables high-concentration loading and stabilization of active ingredients, including retinol. Based on this technology, the company has developed high-functionality skincare solutions that minimize skin irritation while enhancing efficacy.

With this selection as a TIPS, Ageon plans to prioritize advancing its complex active ingredient technology, expanding its pipeline of retinol and high-functionality cosmetic materials, and developing a next-generation material platform that maximizes skin delivery efficiency.

Seo Hyun-sun, CEO of Ageon, explained that this selection is a recognition of both the company's bio-based cosmetic material technology and its potential for brand growth, and announced plans to leap forward as a company with technological competitiveness in the global dermocosmetic market in the future.
