Chungnam Content Promotion Agency announced that it received a commendation for its contribution to the development of the city in recognition of its contribution to the revitalization of the local venture startup ecosystem.
The Chungnam Content Promotion Agency received an award at an awards ceremony held at Cheonan City Hall on the 29th. This award was presented to the organization for its contributions to the local economy and job creation by discovering and fostering excellent local venture companies.
For the past three years, the Chungnam Content Agency has been operating a complex startup park in partnership with Cheonan City, playing a central role in the local startup ecosystem. This has been recognized as a significant step forward in systematically discovering promising startups and supporting their growth, strengthening its position as a startup support organization.
Startup Park's operational achievements include discovering and supporting the establishment of 105 promising startups, attracting a cumulative investment of 25 billion won, and creating 427 new jobs. Furthermore, it has contributed to the global market expansion of local companies, recording export contracts of $470 million and export agreements of $248.2 million. Furthermore, through the selection of TIPS operators and accelerator programs, it has supported startups' technological advancement and market entry, contributing to the qualitative growth of the venture ecosystem.
Kim Gok-mi, President of the Chungnam Content Promotion Agency, stated that this award was a result of the collaborative efforts of employees and resident companies who have worked to vitalize the venture startup ecosystem. She added that the agency plans to support the continued growth of startups by expanding investment connections, providing tailored support for each stage of growth, and strengthening its global expansion support functions.
With this award, Chungnam Content Agency plans to focus on fostering deep-tech and scale-up companies linked to regional specialized industries starting in 2026, thereby further enhancing the competitiveness of the regional startup ecosystem.
