Testify, a startup company specializing in generative AI-based software quality assurance (QA) solutions, has secured a seed investment of 100 million won from the Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation, and has been selected for TIPS, a technology startup support program of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
This investment was made as a result of the Gyeonggi Innovation Center's recognition of Testify's unique AI QA automation technology and its rapid growth since its founding. The Gyeonggi Innovation Center made the seed investment based on Testify's technological potential and business expansion potential, and recommended the company for the TIPS program, considering its potential to grow into a global deep tech company.
TIPS is a leading startup support program that collaborates with private investors and the government to discover and nurture promising startup teams with technological prowess. With this selection, Testify will secure up to 500 million won in R&D and commercialization funding over the next two years.
Founded in October 2024, Testify achieved significant year-on-year growth, reaching KRW 3.1 billion in sales within just one year. This success is attributed to VeriGEN, an AI-powered automated QA solution developed by former IT professionals from companies like Naver and NHN.
Verizen is a solution that automatically generates test cases based on an AI engine trained on over 150,000 real-world data sets. This enables improvements in the overall efficiency of the QA process, including faster testing, reduced costs, and improved defect detection. Currently, domestic IT companies such as NTS and Socar are implementing this solution.
Testify plans to use the newly secured investment and TIPS funds to further enhance its Verizon solution. While strengthening its competitiveness in the domestic B2B on-premise market, it also aims to enter the global SaaS market in the mid- to long-term.
Meanwhile, Testify is expanding its position as a startup in the QA field by achieving success in major programs such as winning the Excellence Award at the '2025 Gyeonggi Deep Tech Startup FLEX' Demo Day and being selected as an innovative startup company at 'IBK Changgong'.
