Edtech company Ice Cream Edu (CEO Ki-Seok Park) is participating in the AI-based learning support project 'Yecheon Run' promoted by Yecheon-gun, Gyeongbuk, and is supporting 'Ice Cream Home Run Middle School (Home Run Middle School)' for local middle school students.
"Yecheon Run" is a customized online learning support program operated by Yecheon County to address the learning gap and strengthen self-directed learning capabilities among local youth. As part of the Education Development Special Zone project, the program is tailored to the specific needs of Yecheon County, based on a business agreement signed with Seoul City's "Seoul Run."
Ice Cream Edu offers an AI-based, personalized learning environment and comprehensive learning content for all subjects through Home Run Middle School. Focusing on academic preparation, Ice Cream Edu systematically supports the entire self-directed learning process, including learning assessment, goal setting, learning performance, and feedback management. It also offers EBS-linked content for CSAT preparation and skill enhancement.
An Ice Cream Edu representative stated, “We will continue to provide support so that students can study and develop their skills in a stable learning environment,” and “We will actively participate in areas where learning gaps need to be resolved and basic academic skills supplementation is needed.”
Yecheon County is recruiting additional students to participate in the Yecheon Run, targeting first-year middle school students. The county also plans to expand its public learning support model, reflecting regional characteristics, centered around educational development special zone projects.
