The Face Secures B2B Deal with Japanese High-End Resort

Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Yongwoo Kim, hereinafter referred to as Busan Changgyeong) announced that pet tech startup The Face (CEO Kyunghyun Noh), a resident company of B.Cube, a resident space jointly supported by Busan Metropolitan City, Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and Korea Real Estate Board, has successfully entered the Japanese market by concluding a B2B deal with a high-end Japanese resort with its self-developed premium pet dry room (SPACE PET).

SPACE PET caught the attention of Japanese resort executives and the CEO of NorthEast Capital at MEGA ZOO, Korea's largest pet exhibition, held on November 21st. After experiencing the product at the exhibition, they decided to introduce it to their resorts. Following an on-site demonstration on December 15th, they completed a pre-mass introduction test and purchased the product.

THE SCENE hamanako is a luxury pet-friendly resort located next to a lake in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. Standard rooms cost an average of 500,000 won per night, and deluxe rooms cost up to 1.2 million won per night. It has a high customer satisfaction rating of 4.75 on Trip Advisor.

The Face CEO Noh Kyung-hyun said, “The selection of SPACE PET, a high-priced premium product, means that the product’s differentiation and value have been recognized,” and “It is very meaningful in that it is a product with a design and performance suitable for a high-end resort environment.”

SPACE PET is scheduled to complete Japanese PSE certification in January 2026, and after certification is completed, it plans to enter the Japanese market in earnest and be officially launched in Korea as well.

CEO Noh Kyung-hyun said, “SPACE PET pursues value as a lifestyle product beyond its functionality,” and added, “Based on our verification in the Japanese high-end resort market, we plan to fully advance into the Asian premium pet care market.”

Kim Seong-woo, PM of the Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center, said, “The Face Co., Ltd.’s first overseas export performance in the domestic pet dry room market raises expectations for its future global expansion.”
