The Joomi Party attracted 5.5 billion won in investment.

Jumidang, a startup developing flavor-generating AI technology, has secured 5.5 billion won in pre-Series A funding. Participating investors include Albatross Investment, We Ventures, Intervalue Partners, and Behigh Investment.

In the flavor industry, which has traditionally relied on subjective experience, Jumidang is developing AI technology that structures olfactory and gustatory data, analyzes it with proprietary algorithms, and generates practical blending recipes for actual manufacturing. The core of this approach is to design new flavor structures by receiving user-specific inputs based on language-based intent and context.

Kim Dong-wan, the head of the Jumi Party, said, “Jumi Party is developing technology that can expand the senses industrially, rather than AI that replaces the senses,” and added, “With this investment, we will strengthen the reproducibility and scalability of the technology and create a standard for flavor creation technology that can be used in the global market.”
