Laontech, a semiconductor vacuum robot specialist, announced on the 5th that it had changed its name to "Laon Robotics" through a public notice. This name change is described as a strategic decision to strengthen its competitiveness in the global market beyond its existing business areas.
The new company name, "Laon Robotics," reflects the company's commitment to strengthening its next-generation equipment lineup based on domestic technological prowess and expanding into key overseas markets. Through these efforts, the company aims to move beyond its domestically focused growth model and establish a global identity as a specialist in wafer transfer robot solutions.
The new CI (corporate identity) was designed with "technological innovation and first-class quality" at its core. While maintaining the symbolism and identity of the existing CI, it was reinterpreted into a future-oriented logo that reflects modern design trends.
A representative of Raon Robotics said, “The name change is not a simple change of name, but a new starting point for strengthening global market competitiveness and maximizing corporate value,” adding, “We will lead the market with unrivaled technological innovation, share the fruits of our labor with shareholders, and grow into a trusted, first-class company.”
Laon Robotics (formerly Laon Tech) boasts world-class technology in vacuum robots, which transport wafers in vacuum environments. Building on its long-standing reliability and technological differentiation, the company is expanding partnerships with global equipment manufacturers.
