Carrot: "We will continue our multifaceted efforts to create a vibrant local ecosystem through collaboration with various companies."

The scope of Carrot Pay payment will be expanded to approximately 80,000 offline neighborhood stores nationwide.
Carrot, Korea's leading local lifestyle community, announced on the 5th that it is collaborating with the payment and integrated store management platform Payhere to support Carrot Pay payments at stores that use Payhere's point-of-sale (POS).
This collaboration allows Carrot Pay users to enjoy a more convenient experience beyond remittances for second-hand transactions, even in everyday offline shopping environments like local cafes, restaurants, and convenience stores. At any PayHere affiliated store nationwide, users can select Payment Method > Easy Payment > Carrot Pay and then simply scan the QR code to make a payment.
Local business owners using Carrot Biz Profile will also find it much easier to manage their stores. By connecting Carrot Biz Profile to the Payhere POS system, they can enjoy one-stop access to features like point accumulation after payment and notifications for Carrot reviews. Specifically, customers can receive automatic Carrot review notifications immediately after payment, making it easier to secure real reviews from their neighbors, a key part of their store promotion.
This also enriches the experience of users (neighbors) who utilize the Carrot Neighborhood Map. Before visiting a store, they can check real-time, highly reliable, verified reviews from neighbors who have actually visited and paid through the Neighborhood Map, making choosing a location less daunting.
Meanwhile, Carrot Pay has been strengthening its service offerings through collaborations with companies in various sectors over the past year. These efforts include launching the "Carrot Money Hana Account" with Hana Bank (March), courier reservations linked to convenience stores (GS25 and CU) (April), and signing a business agreement with NH Nonghyup Bank (August). These efforts are focused on providing a trustworthy transaction environment and user benefits.
A Carrot official said, “Carrot is focusing on bridging the gap between local residents and neighborhood business owners and creating a healthy local community through collaboration with various partners,” and added, “Through this collaboration with PayHere, we hope to build a pleasant payment experience through Carrot Pay throughout the neighborhood, which in turn will lead to connections between business owners and regular neighbors.”
