ISO/IEC 27001 is an international standard for systematically protecting an organization's information assets. It comprehensively assesses the management level across information security policies, risk management, access control, and operational procedures. For digital healthcare companies handling cognitive health data, this certification goes beyond simple security certification and serves as a key criterion for assessing regulatory responsiveness, service reliability, and B2B business competitiveness.
This certification is significant because it officially recognizes that Silvia Health has established and operates an information protection system that meets international standards throughout the development and operation of cognitive enhancement services, including SILVIA Rx and SILVIA Station. Elderly cognitive health data is classified as highly sensitive, and cybersecurity requirements are continually being strengthened by global health regulators and digital therapeutic device review processes.
To obtain certification, Sylvia Health reviewed data flow across its entire service and established a secure operating environment, including access control, records management, and anomaly detection systems. This resulted in a comprehensive information security management system encompassing not only technical security but also organizational operations and risk management.
