Zenaxis Invests in People Changing the World

Zenaxis (CEO Son Mi-kyung) announced that it has completed a pre-A investment in Sesangyeoreunsaeng (CEO Kim Jin-woo), an AI-based power prediction and variable power control technology company.

This investment is the result of a comprehensive evaluation of the technological competitiveness and proven performance of the world-changing people who are solving the rapidly increasing charging demand and building power limitations caused by the expansion of electric vehicle distribution with energy control technology based on AI power prediction, as well as the potential for expansion of power and data-based businesses.

People Who Change the World are developing and operating a Building Energy & Control System (BECS), which analyzes real-time power usage data from buildings to predict peak power and dynamically control surplus power. This system is designed to expand electric vehicle charging infrastructure without the need for additional transformers, significantly reducing installation costs and construction time compared to conventional methods.

Furthermore, the accuracy of electricity demand forecasts has been secured through an AI prediction algorithm linked to KEPCO power data, enabling the anticipated reduction of contracted electricity consumption at the building level. This technology's applicability is being verified through demonstrations in diverse environments, including public parking lots, large apartment complexes, and office buildings.

ZenAxis noted that these world-changing individuals are proposing a charging free zone model where electric and internal combustion engine vehicles share the same space, and are building a SaaS-style operational structure that integrates power, charging, and data. Furthermore, they assessed the company's business scalability, targeting both the public (B2G) and private (B2B) markets, as supporting future growth potential.

A GenAxis representative stated that these "world-changing individuals" are solving structural problems in electric vehicle charging and building energy management through field trials and data-driven technologies. The company decided to invest based on its technological sophistication, potential for applicability in both public and private markets, and global scalability. The company added that it plans to continue supporting growth through follow-up investments and strategic partnerships.

People Who Change the World plans to use this investment to advance AI power prediction and control technology, expand key personnel, and expand public and large-scale private projects. In the mid- to long-term, the company also plans to expand its power data-based services and enter overseas markets.
