AI hospitality tech company H2O Hospitality (CEO Woonghee Lee, hereinafter referred to as H2O) announced on the 6th that it has signed a contract to supply smart check-in and digital door lock solutions with Mamikos, a leading real estate brokerage platform in Indonesia.
This partnership marks H2O's first foray into Indonesia and its eighth global expansion, following Japan, Vietnam, Singapore, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia.
Founded in 2015, Mamikos is Indonesia's largest real estate platform, providing brokerage services focused on the Kos (one-room and officetel-type residence) rental market.
With this contract, H2O will sequentially introduce a smart check-in system and digital door locks to approximately 17,000 courses currently operated by Mamikos.
With the smart check-in solution, tenants receive their room password via a chat app and can enter their property without face-to-face contact using a digital door lock, simultaneously improving landlord operational efficiency and tenant convenience and security. H2O also plans to expand personalized services, leveraging tenant stay and entry pattern data, including automated management fee payments, cleaning services, and facility reservations.
“Our smart access solution will contribute to real estate business innovation and new value creation,” said Seungjun Oh, Head of Global Business Division at H2O. “We will apply our proven technology to the Indonesian rental market to create new market opportunities.”
“By introducing world-class smart home features to the Indonesian cos market, we will be able to raise the bar for the rental business,” said Maria Regina Anggit, CEO of Mamicos.
