Pop-up Studio Secures 1.5 Billion Won in Seed Investment

POPUP STUDIO PTE. LTD. (CEO Taehyung Kim), a company building development infrastructure and communities for global VibeCoders, announced on the 7th that it has secured seed investment from Translink Investment. The investment amount is 1.5 billion won.

Popup Studio is a joint venture between Singapore-based venture studio Wilt Venture Builders (WVB, CEO Won Dae-ro) and AI studio DubDubDub (CEO Kim Tae-hyung), targeting the global market. From its inception, the company adopted a strategy of directly targeting overseas markets in the field of Vibe Coding, combining its global business capabilities with the technical expertise of its former startup CTOs.

The investment firm focused on the structure and completeness of the Vibe Coding ecosystem presented by Popup Studio. Popup Studio designs the Vibe Coder creative process as a virtuous cycle that encompasses idea discovery, learning, development, distribution, and growth. Core services supporting this process include the community bkamp and the AI-native BaaS solution bkend.

BeCamp is a community for AI Vibe coders worldwide. It offers a showcase where users can share AI-based project examples and a recipe feature where users can learn proven AI workflows. This allows users to concretize their ideas and learn how to implement them.

Beyond is a service that simplifies the process of building backend infrastructure, including servers, databases, and API integration. It supports implementation of backend functions without additional coding through conversations with AI agents. Through this, the service aims to lower the technical barriers to operation for both developers and non-developers.

After the product launch, we have a structure that supports the service growth stage through community-based problem solving and sharing of operational experiences centered around B-Camp.

Pop-up Studio plans to expand the Vibe Coding ecosystem to the global market, based in Singapore.
