
Korea Education Group (KEG, CEO Kim Young-woo), a leading domestic education service company, announced on the 7th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with GroupBy, a specialized startup recruitment platform, and will participate as an official sponsor in the '2026 Startup Job Fair,' the largest startup recruitment event in Korea.
This agreement is part of Korea Education Group's "Vision 2030" strategy, which aims to revitalize the startup ecosystem and expand practical employment opportunities for trainees. The two companies plan to establish a collaborative model that organically links education and recruitment based on industry demand, thereby fostering field-focused talent development and expanding employment opportunities.
Groupbuy is a startup-specialized recruitment platform with over 70,000 job seeker members, with approximately 68% having experience, 50% having experience working at startups and SMEs, and 33% being C-level executives. Through this MOU, the two companies will jointly pursue the following: ▲ connecting trainees with startup recruitment opportunities using Groupbuy's 'Recruitment Secretary Service'; ▲ providing field-oriented industry understanding and networking opportunities through participation in job fairs; ▲ establishing an education-industry linkage structure that connects training courses with actual recruitment needs; and ▲ AI-based customized job support.
Korea Education Group will be an official sponsor of the expo, which will be held at COEX B1 Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul from January 10th to 11th, and will participate on-site in collaboration with SBS Academy Computer Art School, Korea IT Academy, and the pre-launch online education platform Blur. Special lectures will be offered to job seekers and job seekers, along with personalized career and employment counseling from expert mentors in the fields of AI, IT, and design. Various prizes will also be given away, including free classes for one subject, 50% discount coupons, and a free month of Blur.
