Ellis School Receives Award for Online Coding Party

Ellis Group (CEO Kim Jae-won), operator of Ellis School, a public education AI education solution brand, has received an award of merit at the "Online Coding Party," an event promoted by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Science and ICT and hosted by the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity. Ellis School was recognized for its consistent participation in the online coding party since 2022, providing hands-on AI and software education content for elementary and middle school students. It was the only participating company to receive the award.

During the online coding party, which ran for two seasons in 2025, Ellis School established an AI and software learning environment for elementary, middle, and high school students and teachers. A total of 35,575 people participated in the program, achieving approximately 105% of the business plan's target of 34,000 participants.

This year's Coding Party featured a variety of hands-on AI and software educational content, including "Learning AI with Scratch," "Hellobit's Carrot-Collecting Journey with Python," "Cheshire's Quiz," "Creating a World of Curriculum with Entry," and "AI Explorers." These level- and subject-specific hands-on content proved highly useful at science and vocational high schools, while elementary and middle schools utilized them in a variety of educational activities, including self-directed learning, after-school classes, and club activities.

Kim Jae-won, CEO of Ellis Group, stated, "Ellis School has been participating in online coding parties since 2022 with the goal of providing AI education that can be applied practically in schools. With over 35,000 students and teachers participating, we were able to confirm the demand for hands-on, hands-on AI education." He added, "We will continue to grow alongside public education and contribute to fostering the talent needed for the AI era."
