
Snow Peak Apparel, a premium outdoor brand developed by Gamseong Corporation, announced on the 7th that it won first place in the Outdoor (China) category of the '2026 Korea First Brand Awards' selected by Chinese consumers on the 6th.
Since its launch in 2020, Snow Peak Apparel has championed lifestyle outdoor wear that embraces both urban and natural environments, offering products that combine functionality and design. The brand has rapidly grown and established itself as a leading brand in the domestic third-generation outdoor market.
As part of its overseas business expansion strategy, Snow Peak Apparel has identified the Chinese market as a key region and has been expanding its reach with local premium consumers, starting with its opening in Shanghai's Taikoo Li department store in December 2023.
This award saw the brand surpass its competitors by ranking first in all evaluation indicators, including service satisfaction, product quality, repurchase intent, and willingness to recommend to others. Gamsung Corporation plans to expand its offline stores across China starting in 2026. The strategy is to increase store openings, focusing on first-tier and new first-tier cities, to enable more local consumers to experience the brand firsthand.
