Platire Partners with ChainGuard

Platier (CEO Sanghoon Lee), an AI/DX solution specialist, announced on the 8th that it has signed an official partnership with Chainguard, a global software supply chain security solution, and will fully launch Chainguard's domestic business based on this partnership.

With the recent proliferation of cloud-native environments and open source adoption, security threats across the software supply chain are emerging as a key challenge for companies. Consequently, it is becoming increasingly important to proactively block security vulnerabilities that may arise in open source-based development environments and establish secure development and operation systems.

ChainGuard is a solution that eliminates Common Vulnerability (CVE) issues that arise during software development, freeing developers from the burden of security patches and library management, allowing them to focus on developing core business functions. Specifically, ChainGuard provides over 1,700 CVE-free Docker images and supports vulnerability remediation and defense against malware and supply chain attacks. This reduces the burden on development resources, ensures compliance with security regulations, and ensures an efficient development environment.

Through its partnership with ChainGuard, Platier plans to systematically support domestic companies' open source supply chain security efforts by providing not only solutions but also technical support, training, and consulting services.

“As open source and cloud native environments become more widespread, software supply chain security is becoming a necessity,” said Jaewoong Jang, head of Platire IDT Business Division. “Through our collaboration with ChainGuard, we will help domestic companies build more secure and efficient DevSecOps environments.”
