ASIC design company Aegicland (CEO Jongmin Lee) announced on the 00th that it has signed a large-scale mass production contract for storage controllers. This contract pre-confirms the annual mass production volume and is worth a total of $17,561,000. Supply is scheduled to proceed sequentially until December 31st.
Among domestic design houses, Aegicland is the only TSMC VCA (Value Chain Alliance) partner, and for this project, it will be conducting mass production based on TSMC processes. The company is responsible for providing integrated support throughout the entire mass production cycle, including design optimization, process adaptation, and mass production yield management.
The storage controllers being supplied are core system semiconductors used in electronics, IoT, and embedded devices, including mobile devices, home appliances, mobility, and robotics. This product line requires long-term reliability verification and rigorous customer certification. This contract, with its annual mass production volume pre-determined, is considered a testament to both Aegic Land's technological prowess and stable supply capabilities.
A company official stated, “This contract is the result of reaffirming Aegic Land’s mass production capabilities and supply reliability with the customer,” and “Since the annual volume has been confirmed for system semiconductors with a wide range of applications, we anticipate repeated mass production sales in the future.”
Lee Jong-min, CEO of Aegic Land, emphasized, “We will establish a foundation for sustainable growth based on close partnerships with our customers across the entire system semiconductor industry.”
