DLG Law Firm Wins the 2026 Work-Life Balance Legal Culture Award from the Korean Bar Association

DLG Law Firm announced that it has received the "2026 Work-Life Balance Legal Culture Award" from the Korean Bar Association. This award is official recognition of the firm's commitment to a corporate culture that values the balance between work and personal life.

The Work-Family Balance Legal Culture Award is an award presented by the Korean Bar Association since 2015 to law firms that practice work-life balance, selected based on strict criteria. It was established to spread a healthy work culture throughout the legal profession.

DL Law Firm prioritizes the quality of life of its members over external growth, and has pursued sustainable organizational operations based on this principle. Recognizing that professionalism and work performance can be maximized when individuals' lives are stable, the firm has gradually improved its work practices and organizational culture.

Currently, DLG operates a smart work system based on the premise of working from home and flexible working hours. It has also introduced Family Day, which guarantees time with family, and Workation, which allows employees to work from vacation locations. These systems are designed to allow employees to choose a work style that suits their individual life stages.

In particular, to ensure practical use of the system, the application process was streamlined, and managers were encouraged to implement flexible work practices, ensuring the system went beyond mere formality. Consequently, the welfare system has become a part of everyday work environments, rather than an exceptional benefit.

DL Law Firm believes this organizational culture not only enhances employee satisfaction, but also leads to increased work engagement and organizational stability. The analysis suggests that by enabling long-term career planning, the reliability and expertise of the legal services provided to clients are also enhanced.

Attorneys Wonhee Cho and Heechul Ahn emphasized that stable lives for members are the foundation of the firm's growth, and announced plans to continuously review and develop a work environment that naturally harmonizes work and family life.
