Innature Signs Proof-of-Concept Agreement with the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce

Innature, a global smart window solutions company, announced that it has signed a business agreement with the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce in New York, USA, for local product verification and market entry, and is entering the North American market.

Under this agreement, Innature will install a smart window solution measuring approximately 16 square meters at the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce's New York office and conduct a three-month demonstration. Upon completion of the demonstration, Innature will receive a comprehensive evaluation report on product performance.

Innature's core technology, CHB thermochromic film, is a smart window solution that integrates heating, color change, and blind functions into a single film. According to accredited testing by the Korea Building Energy Testing Institute, solar cell-powered panels reduce heating power consumption by approximately 60.4% compared to standard glass.

The thermal transmittance, which indicates insulation performance, was measured at 0.1, showing a significant improvement compared to the existing product, and the energy consumption efficiency rating was also raised from 3 to 1. It was also found to block over 90% of infrared rays, maintaining a temperature difference of up to 10 degrees with the outside. Based on this technological prowess, Innature won the CES 2025 Innovation Award, the KES 2025 Innovation Award, and the Silver Medal at the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, and was also designated as an innovative product by the Public Procurement Service.

Innature's solution utilizes a retrofit method, allowing for installation without replacing existing windows, reducing construction costs. The energy savings allow for a return on investment within approximately two years, and improved natural lighting is also expected to increase the value of the space.

Following this New York demonstration, the company is currently pursuing installations at the KID Museum in Washington, D.C., and a smart home demo room in Seattle. The company is also collaborating with partners with overseas installation experience. Furthermore, starting in March, the company plans to expand its business from architectural glass to the automotive glass market by conducting a proof-of-concept (PoC) for sunroofs with a U.S. automaker. Furthermore, the company plans to introduce low-e window film for DIY installation to major retail channels, targeting both B2B and B2C markets simultaneously.

Innature, an 8th generation IBK Changgong Daejeon company, plans to use this North American collaboration as an opportunity to expand the scope of application of smart window technology in the global market.
