Sky Intelligence has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Alibaba Cloud, launching a global collaboration to produce generative AI-based 3D content. The agreement took place on January 6th at Alibaba Cloud's headquarters in Hangzhou, China. The two companies agreed to jointly build a next-generation automated 3D content production system that combines AI and cloud technologies.
Under the agreement, Sky Intelligence will implement a large-scale content production environment centered around its generative AI 3D content technology, B.THREE, combining Alibaba Cloud's global cloud infrastructure and high-performance GPU computing environments. This will aim to simultaneously improve production speed and quality in the e-commerce and brand marketing sectors.
B3 is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform built on NVIDIA Omniverse-based standard architecture, integrating the entire 3D content creation process, including product scanning, modeling, lighting, animation, and real-time rendering, into a single pipeline. This agreement will link B3 with Alibaba Cloud's Tongyi generative AI platform and Wuying cloud rendering technology, enabling the creation of high-quality content with simple input.
The two companies anticipate that leveraging high-performance GPU computing resources and parallel processing technology will improve 3D content production efficiency by over 90% and reduce production and marketing costs by approximately 50% and 40%, respectively. Furthermore, they plan to jointly expand specialized workflows and solutions tailored to each industry's specific needs and collaborate on building a global AI content ecosystem, including collaboration in education and research.
Sky Intelligence CEO Lee Jae-cheol stated, "This agreement is a practical starting point for expanding AI-based 3D content production across industries. We will present a new content production method that can be applied in the global market." An Alibaba Cloud representative stated, "We will support a stable and scalable cloud environment to expand Sky Intelligence's technology."
