The Creative Economy Innovation Center Council has appointed Park Dae-hee, director of the Daejeon Creative Economy Innovation Center, as its 11th chairman.

Park Dae-hee, CEO of the Daejeon Creative Economy Innovation Center , has been reappointed as the 11th Chairman of the Creative Economy Innovation Center Council, following his 10th term. His reappointment was confirmed at the recent general meeting of the Creative Economy Innovation Center Council, and his new term will run for one year, beginning in January 2026.

Park Dae-hee, Chairman of the Council, will represent the 19 Creative Economy Innovation Centers nationwide and lead the revitalization of regional startup ecosystems and the growth of startups. During his tenure as the 10th Chairman, he has focused on strengthening regional startup support systems and expanding cooperation between centers. He is recognized for elevating the role and status of the Creative Economy Innovation Centers by advancing startup support models that reflect regional characteristics, promoting open innovation, and strengthening the connection between startup scale-up and investment.

The Center for Creative Economy and Innovation is a key startup organization dedicated to supporting technology startups and commercialization in line with the government's startup policy. Currently, 19 centers are operating nationwide. They provide full-cycle support for aspiring entrepreneurs and startups, including incubation, mentoring, commercialization, investment linkages, sales support, and global expansion, contributing to the expansion of the local startup ecosystem and job creation.

Council Chairman Park Dae-hee has outlined key priorities for his new term, including intensively nurturing promising deep-tech startups, enhancing the regional startup support system, and expanding open innovation through public-private partnerships. He also plans to strengthen the one-stop service support function linking startups, investment, commercialization, and deregulation. Furthermore, the AX Committee will provide comprehensive support for digital and AI transformation, systematically supporting the growth of startups.

In addition, the company announced its plan to establish a structure in which the National Creative Economy Innovation Center can grow together through customized support that reflects the characteristics and strengths of each region's startup ecosystem, and to continuously produce tangible results for startups.
