AI solutions specialist Jimision announced that it has received certification in the loitering detection category from the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA), a certification program for intelligent CCTV performance testing. Intelligent CCTV performance testing certification is Korea's only official certification system that evaluates the accuracy and reliability of algorithms for detecting abnormal situations such as intrusions, loitering, and abandonment.
This certification is the result of research and development by the AXLab team under the Mission AX Convergence Research Institute, and is recognized as the result of technological advancements focused on reducing false positives and increasing detection accuracy. Loitering detection technology, which identifies objects that remain in a specific area for extended periods or exhibit unusual behavior, is a key component of intelligent CCTV. This technology can be utilized to support security control and risk prevention in diverse environments, including smart cities, unmanned stores, and industrial sites.
Gmission plans to incorporate its certified loitering detection algorithm as the core engine of its AI video analysis platform, DEXMA. DEXMA is a solution that automates the entire process of video collection, configuration, recognition, notification, and analysis, using AI to support safety management and improve operational efficiency in industrial settings.
With this certification, the company plans to expand the scope of its technology to detect complex abnormal behaviors such as fires, falls, and intrusions, and strengthen cooperation with smart cities, public safety, and manufacturing.
Jimision is linking research and development with commercialization through its AX Convergence Research Institute system, which encompasses generative AI, physics-based AI, validation, and commercialization, and is expanding its market presence as a B2B-specialized AI solutions company.
