TS Trillion Wins Contract to Build Core Facilities for Ansan AI Data Center

TS Trillion 's wholly owned subsidiary, Vivir Company, has won a contract to build core facilities for an AI data center being built in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province. The contract is worth approximately 18.9588 billion won.

BBL Company supplies and installs uninterruptible power supplies (UPSs) and large-scale cooling equipment, Fan Wall Units (FWUs), in the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) division, which handles the electrical, cooling, and overall facility management essential to data center operation. The equipment, sourced from VERTIV, a global data center infrastructure specialist, is used to ensure a stable power supply and efficient cooling environment for large-scale AI server operations.

The Ansan AI Data Center is a large-scale facility being built to meet the rapidly growing demand for artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC). Because AI servers consume more power and generate more heat than standard servers, stable power supply and high-efficiency cooling design are considered key factors in determining data center performance.

Through this project, TS Trillion plans to move beyond simple equipment supply to become an integrated infrastructure solutions provider encompassing the entire process from planning, design, construction, and operation. The company plans to reduce power loss and improve cooling efficiency, even in high-power, high-density server environments, thereby reducing operating costs.

This contract is part of Vice Chairman Park Joo-hoon's business diversification strategy, and is seen as the first example of new growth potential in the data center and AI infrastructure sectors. The company plans to expand into areas with high long-term growth potential, such as data centers and AI infrastructure, while maintaining the competitiveness of its existing K-Hair business.

TS Trillion plans to foster its AI data center MEP business as a core growth engine and establish a standard model for AI-specific equipment technology that combines power redundancy design, uninterruptible power systems, and fan-wall, water-cooling, and hybrid cooling methods. Furthermore, it plans to strengthen collaborations with global data center infrastructure companies to expand its business scope to include domestic hyperscale data centers and overseas AI and cloud data center projects.

Park Joo-hoon, Vice Chairman of TS Trillion, said, “This Ansan project is an important starting point that announces our full-scale entry into the AI data center business through our subsidiary BBR Company.” He added, “Based on the power and cooling technologies essential for the AI era, we will grow into an infrastructure specialized company that possesses both performance and economic feasibility of data centers.”
