– After analyzing the possibility of a refund based on AI, we will connect with Yuhyeon Tax Law Firm to provide support for tax correction claims.
Plans to expand services to include corporate refunds, accounting, and tax management using tax data.

B2B fintech company Finova Lab (CEO Jong-wook Jang) announced the official launch of ‘Semoa,’ a tax refund service for self-employed individuals.
Founded in 2020, Pynoverse Labs has launched "Semoa," a service that simplifies the complex tax filing and refund procedures faced by individual business owners, based on the data analysis capabilities and work automation know-how accumulated through the operation of fintech services.
Semoa is characterized by its hybrid structure, which comprehensively analyzes the applicant's industry, tax deduction items, and past tax return history based on AI-based screening automation technology, and provides one-stop support from actual reporting to tax correction claims in cooperation with specialized tax firms for those with a high possibility of a refund.
To this end, Pynoverse Lab has been preparing a service operation system in cooperation with Yuhyeon Tax Law Firm, which has the experience and expertise to process over 50 billion won in cumulative refunds for numerous individual business clients.
Individual business owners who wish to check their expected refund amount can do so by entering the personal information of their representative registered with the National Tax Service on the official website of Semoa and completing simple authentication through Hometax and the Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service.
Phynoverse Lab plans to utilize the tax data acquired through Semoa to enhance its services, and expand into areas such as bookkeeping and tax management, as well as providing tax refund services to corporate businesses.
“By combining my experience and skills as a certified public accountant working at a large accounting firm, I was able to create a service that can be used efficiently in actual fields, rather than a simple refund calculator,” said Jang Jong-wook, CEO of Pynovus Lab. “Our goal is to provide high-quality tax services by focusing our capabilities on areas that require expert verification while simultaneously handling repetitive and standardized areas with AI.”
Meanwhile, Pynovus Labs was selected for the 17th batch of SparkLabs, a global startup accelerator, and its technological prowess and business growth potential were recognized.
