Soap Labs Signs MOU with the Korea University Press Association

Soap Labs , which operates the college life platform Everytime, announced on the 13th that it has signed a business agreement with the Korea University Press Association to promote college press.

The signing ceremony was held on the 12th at the Soap Labs Creative Campus in Mapo-gu, Seoul, and was attended by Oh Dae-young, President of the Korean University Press Association, Kim Han-i, CEO of Soap Labs, and officials from both organizations.

The Korean University Press Council is a government-approved organization comprised of current and former editor-in-chief professors from university newspapers and broadcasting stations at approximately 60 four-year universities nationwide. It supports guidance and research activities for student journalists to develop university press organizations.

Under this agreement, the two institutions plan to jointly promote university journalism, support planned reporting by university journalists, and conduct educational and research activities to strengthen the reporting capabilities of university journalists.

Soap Labs will leverage its experience operating a university student community platform to support the dissemination of content and improvement of the communication environment for university media, while the Korean University Press Association will leverage its expertise to strengthen the capabilities of university journalists.

Through this collaboration, the two organizations aim to create a sustainable operating environment for university press and contribute to the spread of a culture of communication within the university.
