Edtech startup Freewillin (CEO Kwon Ki-seong) announced its year-end financial results, highlighting key achievements for 2025. Freewillin has continued its growth by expanding the scope of its AI-based learning and assessment services across the entire educational landscape, from elementary, middle, and high schools to universities, centered around its core services: Mathplat, Schoolplat/Pulischool, and Pulicampus.

First, Mathplatt maintained its leadership in the math problem bank sector in terms of sales and market share in 2025, solidifying its position as Korea's leading AI math learning solution. Annual revenue increased from KRW 16 billion in 2024 to KRW 19.6 billion in 2025, representing a 23% year-over-year growth. The cumulative customer base surpassed 3.5 million, an increase of 800,000 in just one year.

The scale of learning data has also continued to expand. The cumulative number of questions graded through Mathplat has surpassed 1.6 billion, and as of 2025, an average of 18 questions were graded per second. The problem bank has also steadily expanded, with the number of self-produced questions reaching 1.1 million and supporting 3,984 commercially available math textbooks, a record-breaking number in the industry. Based on this foundation, Mathplat provides an accurate and efficient, AI-based personalized learning environment to 9,500 math education institutions nationwide.

The spread of AI-based math courseware for K-12 public education has also been remarkable. As of 2025, AI-based math courseware based on Schoolplat and Pullyschool will be used in 3,641 schools nationwide, an increase of over 2,000 schools over the previous year. Currently, the scope of application has expanded to schools affiliated with 17 metropolitan and provincial offices of education nationwide, demonstrating its stable use in public education.

In particular, Pullischool is participating in digital education projects by the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education and the Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education, accumulating stable use cases from elementary schools to middle and high schools. This demonstrates that AI-based math courseware is being used in proven ways in public education settings, beyond pilot projects at the Office of Education level. Furthermore, Schoolplat was selected for the 2025 Daegu-Gwangju EdTech Soft Lab demonstration project, and is recognized for its established role as a teaching aid and learning management infrastructure in schools.

In the higher education sector, "Pulicampus," an AI courseware program specialized in university education, is rapidly expanding. As of 2025, Pulicampus will be implemented in 70 universities nationwide, establishing itself as an AI courseware program used by one in three four-year universities in Korea. This represents a nearly doubling of the number as of the end of 2024.

Fully Campus is the first in Korea to operate an AI-based diagnostic assessment for university students' basic academic skills, with a cumulative total of 610,000 students taking the test. According to the 2025 Higher Education EdTech Soft Lab's pilot study, students who used the assessment saw an average achievement score increase of over 19 points, and 90% of test takers experienced improvements in their basic academic skills.

In addition, Fully Campus supports 50 liberal arts and major courses at universities and has expanded its scope to include AI courseware, boasting the largest number of subjects and questions in Korea. Notably, in July 2025, Fully Campus became the first in the industry to acquire patents related to AI-based diagnostic assessment and personalized learning systems, demonstrating its technological excellence and originality. Furthermore, Fully Campus was selected as a Higher Education EdTech Softlab demonstration company for two consecutive years, in 2024 and 2025, validating the applicability of its AI learning and assessment platform in real-world university settings.

Kwon Ki-seong, CEO of Freewillin, said, “Following our rapid growth and technological prowess in 2024, 2025 was a year in which we confirmed that AI learning and evaluation technology can actually be established in the educational field from elementary, middle, and high school to universities.” He added, “Going forward, we will focus on creating trustworthy standards in the educational field rather than short-term results, and steadily expand the AI education ecosystem that encompasses public and higher education.”
