Coxwave (CEO Joo-won Kim), operator of the AI product analysis platform "Align," announced on the 14th that it has secured 7 billion won in pre-Series A funding. Including this round, Coxwave's total investment now stands at 12.5 billion won.
L&S Venture Capital participated as the lead investor in this round, with new investors including KB Investment, Hyundai Technology Investment, Hyundai Motor Company Zero One Ventures, and KDB Daewoo Capital. Investors highly valued Coxwave's accumulated data and technological prowess in AI product analysis, as well as its growth potential in the AI agent verification market.
Since its founding in 2021, Coxwave has been developing technologies for real-time performance analysis, user experience optimization, and reliability verification of conversational AI. In 2023, it achieved the first sale of a generative AI product in Korea. Through its AI product analysis platform, "Align," and AI service implementation consulting, Coxwave is supporting the AI transition in industries such as edutech, AICC, and finance.
Global collaborations are also active. We've held joint events with global AI companies like Antropic and OpenAI, and we maintain ongoing technical collaboration with NVIDIA. Last December, we were selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' Scale-Up Tips R&D project, receiving government recognition for our technological innovation.
Align is a user behavior analysis and feedback-based quantitative evaluation solution for conversational AI products. It supports AI service operators in improving their products based on data. In the AI reliability technology sector, it will be expanded to include features that enable real-time tracking of AI agent behavior and immediate response to issues. In the future, it plans to contribute to establishing corporate AI governance as an "AI guardrail."
Coxwave is also expanding its AX (Experience Transformation) business. It has implemented AI transformation projects in industries such as e-commerce, public institutions, consulting, and MICE, and plans to expand its business based on the results of collaborations with domestic and international clients such as PwC India, Meta, Microsoft, and the Economic Times. Coxwave is also working to expand AI utilization among edutech companies through its B2B AI education solution, "EduTap."
“As AI agents expand into sensitive business areas, demand for reliability verification is increasing,” said Jang Du-hyeon, director of L&S Venture Capital. “Coxwave has ample growth potential as a company with technological prowess and global collaboration experience.”
Kim Joo-won, CEO of Coxwave, said, “Our goal is to help our partner companies secure leadership in the AI industry by strengthening our two pillars: AI reliability technology and AX consulting,” adding, “With this investment, we will advance our technological capabilities and support more companies’ transition to AI.”
