IST (CEO Cho Chang-hyun), a global semiconductor equipment specialist, announced on the 14th that it has signed a 1.8 billion won contract to supply FOUP Cleaner equipment to SK Hynix's Chinese production subsidiary. Equipment delivery is scheduled to be completed by April 15th.
This contract is a supplementary investment aimed at improving process stability and operational efficiency of existing semiconductor production lines in China. Demand for related equipment continues to grow, particularly as cleanliness and reliability standards are strengthened to support high-value-added memory processes such as HBM.
IST explained that orders for FOUP Cleaner equipment are continuing across the domestic and international production sites of major customers, including SK Hynix. The company previously secured orders for FOUP Cleaner and FOUP Inspection equipment in November of last year and January of this year, and expects continued orders as this contract aligns with the key customer's process advancement strategy.
