Nota (CEO Myung-soo Chae), an artificial intelligence model optimization and lightweight technology company, announced on the 15th that it was selected for the '2026 Emerging AI+X Top 100' hosted by the Korea Artificial Intelligence Industry Association (AIIA).
Nota was previously named one of CB Insights' '2025 Global Innovative AI Startups 100' and the '2025 MAD Landscape' Edge AI category, a key indicator of the global AI industry. Through this selection, Nota has once again proven its technological competitiveness in the domestic and international AI industry ecosystem.
The Emerging AI+X Top 100 program identifies promising companies that will drive future innovation through AI technology-based convergence with various industries. A total of 100 companies are selected through evaluations by industry, academia, and research experts, as well as venture capitalists. This year, approximately 2,400 companies participated.
Nota was selected as a leading company in the AI convergence industry after comprehensively evaluating its growth potential, innovation, and future value in the on-device AI field based on its lightweight and optimization technologies. In particular, its lightweight technology, considered a key technology for the commercialization of physical AI, is increasing its potential for use in industrial settings.
Netpresso, Nota's proprietary AI model optimization and lightweight platform, is a technology platform that compresses, optimizes, and deploys AI models tailored to hardware characteristics. This technology reduces AI model size by up to 90% while maintaining accuracy, contributing to reduced development and operational costs and supporting the adoption of AI across various industries.
In addition, Nota is pursuing operational efficiency and safety enhancements in fields such as industrial safety, intelligent transportation systems, and mobility control through its vision-language model-based video surveillance solution. This solution provides real-time risk alerts, automatic report generation, and natural language-based video search capabilities, supporting analysis and response to complex situations.
Based on these technologies, Nota is enabling data-driven decision-making in a variety of industrial environments, including safety management in manufacturing sites, analysis of urban traffic flow, and vehicle operation monitoring.
Nota CEO Chae Myung-soo said that this selection is a recognition of the company's efforts to achieve tangible results in industrial settings based on AI model optimization and on-device AI technology, and that the company will continue to strengthen its competitiveness in the AI convergence ecosystem through continuous research and development and global cooperation.
