Pursley to Open Seoul AI Hub

Persly, a medical AI service company, announced on the 16th that it has moved into the Seoul AI Hub, a key base for domestic AI research.

With this move, Pursley plans to secure infrastructure optimized for AI technology development and focus on advancing its technology by utilizing the Seoul AI Hub's research and development (R&D) support and the regulatory exemptions of the Yangjae AI Special Zone in Seocho-gu.

Pursley provides a specialized medical AI service that answers patient questions based solely on verified sources, including official medical data and university hospital guidelines. Unlike existing customized model training methods, Pursley applies proprietary technology to verify the accuracy and correct errors in the information generated by general-purpose LLMs, enhancing the reliability of its AI.

Pursley attracted seed investment from global venture capital firm Antler Korea just one month after its incorporation, and demonstrated rapid growth by being selected for TIPS, a government technology startup investment program, just seven months after its incorporation.

This move to the Seoul AI Hub is expected to serve as a crucial stepping stone for Pursley's expansion into the global market. Pursley is currently achieving significant results, primarily in the US market, and plans to leverage the AI Hub's global support infrastructure to expand its market share.

Pursley Co-CEO Namgung Hyun said, “The Seoul AI Hub is an environment optimized for high-difficulty deep-tech research,” and added, “Through this move, we will elevate our technological perfection to a global level and present a standard solution to the LLM reliability issue in the U.S. market.”

The Seoul AI Hub is operated by the Seoul National University Research Institute of Engineering and Technology and aims to discover and nurture excellent AI startups and help them grow into unicorn companies.
