
The Software (SW) Convergence Council, a subsidiary of the Korea Artificial Intelligence and Software Industry Association (Chairman Jo Jun-hee, KOSA), announced on January 15 that it had appointed Na Yoon-hoo, CEO of Almond Co., Ltd., as its 8th chairman.
Almond Co., Ltd., a pet tech company recognized for its technological prowess, has developed "Dr. Almond," an AI-based pet vital signs monitoring solution. The new CEO stated, "By strengthening the capabilities of each member company and integrating across industries, we will achieve qualitative growth that goes beyond mere external expansion and leads the AI era."
Since its launch in 2011, the SW Convergence Council has pursued various initiatives to expand demand for SW convergence services and revitalize businesses. Currently comprised of approximately 50 member companies, the council continues to conduct empirical analysis and information sharing on SW convergence technologies, fostering industry exchange and promoting industry development.
