GoGo Rentcar directly owns and operates the rental car infrastructure for local Korean and corporate customers and serves as Gongka's local operating partner for its expansion into the US market.
The two companies plan to operate a collaborative vehicle-based business in the initial phase, expand the scope of operations as reservations increase, and discuss establishing a sustainable rental car business model in the US in the mid- to long-term. With this agreement, Gongka plans to sequentially expand business discussions, starting in Los Angeles, and then to major cities such as San Francisco, San Diego, and New York.
